NAUTICAL EXPERTISE

PERFORMANCE OF OUR LEAD BOWLS
LEAD BOWLS

For several decades, NAVYLEST International has supported shipyards and nautical stakeholders in the manufacture of lead keels, bulbs and ballast parts for the most demanding applications.

DESIGN & MANUFACTURING

Since the beginning of our business, we have collaborated closely with shipyards and companies in the nautical sector in the manufacture of lead ballast parts as well as technical keels and bulbs.

The design of racing sailboats and their appendages has become increasingly technical. To meet these new requirements, our foundry has continuously invested in its manufacturing processes and in improving its production tools.

For the mass production of parts, the creation of reliable concrete or cast iron molds is an essential step. Our molding solutions allow us to achieve an excellent level of finish while maintaining controlled production costs.

PERFORMANCE & DENSITY

LEAD PERFORMANCE
IN NAUTICAL ENGINEERING

11,35

Density of lead

A density significantly higher than steel and cast iron.

reduced center

Optimized center of gravity

Reduction of draft and improvement of performance.

0 corrosion

Natural resistance

Lead does not rust and retains its properties over time.

CNC machining of lead bulbs and weights

LEAD BULB MACHINING

For the specific needs of nautical projects,NAVYLEST manufactures bulbs, keels and lead ballast.

We are capable of machining from solid blocks or from casting blanks, depending on the technical constraints of the project.

Our CNC machining capabilities allow us to: offer short lead times, optimized costs, and a very high level of precision.

CNC machining of the bulbs allows for the best hydrodynamic performance for racing sailboats.

INDUSTRIAL EXPERTISE

A SPECIALIZED FOUNDRY
IN BOWLS & BUBBLES

NAVYLEST specializes in the manufacture of lead keels and bulbs intended primarily for high-end racing sailboats.

Based on your technical plans, we produce the mannequins, the frames and the all-lead weights with integrated stainless steel marine rods.

We also manufacture ballast weights and counterweights for all marine applications.
